Here's a Look at the Trims Available for the 2019 Taurus

The 2019 Ford Taurus is available in four trim levels, SE, SEL, Limited, and the high-performance SHO. Even the base model is well-equipped, and some of the standard features on higher-spec models are available as options on other trims. All-wheel drive is available on SEL and Limited trims and is standard on the SHO.

SE

SE models are powered by a 288-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 engine producing 254 pound-feet of torque to the front wheels. It is mated with a six-speed automatic transmission with sport mode and shifter button activation. You’ll get up to 18 mpg for city driving and 26 mpg on the highway.

The exterior has Ford’s signature grille flanked by stylish automatic headlamps. The wheels are 18-inch painted aluminum, while the sleek profile features powered door mirrors with an integrated blind-spot mirror, body-colored door handles, illuminated entry, and a keyless entry keypad. At the rear are dual chrome-tipped exhausts and LED taillights.

Inside you’ll find cloth upholstery with a six-way power adjustable driver’s seat and 60/40 split fold-down rear seats. Features include single-zone climate control, cruise control, a multi-function steering wheel, driver information display, interior trunk release, and three 12-volt power outlets.

The Sync infotainment system includes a 4.2-inch touchscreen with integrated rearview camera, a six-speaker audio system with CD player, voice activation with Bluetooth for music streaming and hands-free calling, and two USB ports.

SEL

Stepping up to the SEL gets you body-colored heated door mirrors with puddle lights, LED daytime running lights, remote engine start, and rear parking sensors. The interior features premium cloth upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and satellite radio.

Adding the available Equipment Group 201A to the SEL gives you the Sync 3 infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen, an additional audio speaker and smartphone integration, as well as keyless entry and ignition. You could also opt for a power moonroof, navigation system, and leather-trimmed upholstery with heated front seats.

Limited

The high-spec Limited trim offers you 19-inch alloy wheels, automatic high beams, chrome-capped automatic dimming door mirrors with memory, and unique badging. Inside are ambient lighting, perforated leather upholstery with 10-way power driver’s seat with memory, heated and cooled front seats, and heated rear seats, a heated steering wheel, and power adjustable pedals.

Additional safety features include adaptive cruise control with collision warning, a blind-spot monitoring system with cross-traffic warning, rain-sensing wipers, and an automatic dimming rear-view mirror. Equipment Group 201A comes as standard as does an upgraded Sony sound system with HD radio.

SHO

A turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 engine powers the SHO; this engine produces 365 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque to all four wheels. The transmission has paddle shifters, and you get 20-inch black alloy wheels, sport-tuned suspension, a rear spoiler, and black trim. Inside you get unique leather upholstery. You can also opt for the SHO Performance package, which adds even more bells and whistles to amp up the fun.
