2018 Ford Fusion release date 

Ford has not announced an exact date, but rather a time frame. The 2018 Ford Fusion will be available in late 2017 or very early 2018. We expect the newest model to arrive sometime between November 2017 and January 2018. Since Ford has not revealed an exact date, we unfortunately cannot do so either. However, expect to see the 2018 Ford Fusion by the time New Year’s Day rolls around!

2018 Ford Fusion details 

You might be asking yourself what’s new with the Fusion. The car has made great strides in recent years to modernizing itself. There will be a plug-in hybrid mod, as well as sport and coupe trims. Some design changes are also to be expected, such as a lowered roof-line and a revised floor-pan, which will result in lower seating and center of gravity. Rumors have indicated that the 2018 Ford Fusion could be the company’s first all-aluminum bodied sedan. 

Under the hood, we will see the return on the standard 1.5-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder gasoline engine. The sportier version of the Fusion will feature a 2.7-liter V6 turbo engine, producing 325 BHP and an impressive 350 lb.-ft. of torque.
