The all-new 2018 Ford F-150 will offer its most advanced lineup of powertrain options ever, and we thought we’d dive into some of the specs regarding those engine options to give you a better idea of the choices you’ll be making if you decide you want one of these incredible new machines for yourself.

3.3L V6

This year the standard engine will be the 3.3L V6, offering a more efficient, powerful and torque-offering base trim level than ever before. If offers 290 horsepower, 265 pound-feet of torque and a 22 miles per gallon combined fuel economy.

2.7L EcoBoost V6

This engine comes equipped with a segment-exclusive SelectShift 10-speed automatic transmission and offers 325 horsepower, 400 lb-ft. of torque and 22 mpg combined.

5.0L V8

The largest engine in the lineup offers best-in-class payload with its 395 horsepower, 400 lb-ft. of torque and 19 mpg combined.

3.5L EcoBoost V6

The 3.5L EcoBoost V6 will be offered as a regular engine and a high-output option. The former offers 375 hp, 470 lb-ft. of torque and 21 mpg combined, while the ladder generates 450 hp, 510 lb-ft. of torque and 16 mpg combined.

3.0L Power Stroke Turbo-diesel V6

Unfortunately, very little information is known at this point about the brand-new diesel engine offering for the F-150.
