Trim Levels
<p>The trim levels on the Super Duty trucks appear nearly limitless, allowing you to customize your purchase based on your specific power, performance, and towing needs. The models differ primarily on the towing and payload capacity, with the lowest in the F-250 series, followed by the F-350 and F-450. Within each model class are six different trims with higher-end amenities and features as you go up the line. </p> <p>The base XL trim, available on the F-250, F-350, and F-450, comes equipped with black painted front and rear bumpers, black door handles and grille, quad dual-beam halogen headlamps, tailgate assist and quick release, tie-down hooks, and two front tow hooks. </p> <p>The XLT improves on the base trim with standard chrome steel front and rear bumpers, a tailgate power lock, and rear privacy glass. The next level Lariat comes with fog lamps, power and heated LED spotlights, and a power sliding rear privacy glass. </p> <p>The King Ranch series offers enhanced design amenities, such as front and rear bumpers in an accent color, 6-inch illuminated cab steps, LED box lighting, two-tone lower accent paint, memory mirrors, and remote tailgate release. The Platinum series includes such luxurious accents as power deployable cab steps, a satin chrome bar grille, quad beam LED headlamps, LED fog lamps, LED taillights, and tailgate step with tailgate assist. </p> <p>The Limited series is the top-of-the-line model that will make the most arduous tasks a pleasure to perform. Enjoy a power moonroof and a satin chrome grille that is exclusive to the Limited. </p>
Engine
Most F-250 and F-350 models come standard with an impressive 6.2-liter V-8 engine that provides best-in-class torque. The F-450 and all of the Limited models are equipped with a standard 6.7-liter Power Stroke V-8 turbodiesel engine that also sets the class standard for power with a staggering 450 horsepower and 935 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
The Ford Super Duty trucks are among the highest capacity heavy duty trucks on the market. The F-250 series can haul an additional 12,000 pounds, the F-350 series up to 15,000 pounds, and the F-450 models up to 21,000 pounds.
Interior
With so many trims from which to choose, the Super Duty trucks can be configured with minimal features for pure utility all the way up to top-of-the-line plush leather seats and finishes with high-end materials.
