2019 Ford Fusion

<p>In total, there are nine available trim levels on the 2019 Fusion between the regular fuel and hybrid engine options. Standard fuel trims include the S, SE, SEL, Titanium, and V-6 Sport. Available hybrid trims consist of the Hybrid SE, Hybrid SEL, Hybrid Titanium, and Energi Titanium.</p> <p>The S and SE trims are very similar. Both have body-colored accents, solar tinted glass, LED taillights, and a chrome grille. The SE's standout visual feature is the bright chrome exhaust tip at the end of the muffler. The SEL trim keeps the body-colored accents but adds turn signal indicators on the mirrors and chrome trimmed headlights.</p> <p>Once you break into the Titanium trim level, you'll see greater differences such as the inclusion of fog lamps, a rear spoiler, and a dual exhaust with chrome tips. The V-6 Sport trim has a glossy black grille and each end of the dual exhaust has two tips instead of one. The Hybrid trims all match their regular fuel counterparts. The only difference is the Energi Titanium, which has a chrome mesh grille instead of a standard chrome grille.</p>

The 2019 Ford Fusion includes six engine configurations because of the hybrid and non-hybrid options. The non-hybrid trims have the following engine configurations. The S has a Duratec engine with an optimum output of 175 horsepower. The SE and SEL trims are both equipped with a four-cylinder EcoBoost engine that creates 181 horsepower. The Titanium trim level has a slightly larger EcoBoost engine capable of producing 231 horsepower. The V-6 Sport trim lives up to its namesake with a six-cylinder engine and it produces an incredible 325 horsepower. The hybrid trims have an iVCT plug-in hybrid engine which produces 141 horsepower.

If you opt for one of the electric engines, you'll have a maximum speed of around 85 mph. All engines, however, can run off of regular unleaded fuel. All-wheel drive is standard on the V-6 trim, and an optional upgrade on select trims.

Regardless of the Fusion trim level you decide on, you'll step into a feature-rich cabin that features dual zone climate control, mp3 connectivity, and SYNC voice controlled console. The SE and SEL trims include FordPass Connect, and they upgrade the cabin to six and 11 speakers respectively. When considering the Titanium or V-6 Sport trims you get heated and cooled front seats, and a premium Sony audio system. Hybrid interiors match their non-hybrid relatives when it comes to interior features.

Getting behind the wheel of a 2019 Ford Fusion has never been safer. Both front and rear passengers have side curtain air bags, and the front seats have dual-stage air bags. AdvanceTrac electronic stability control, post-crash alerts, and a rearview camera are some of the available standard safety features on all trim levels.
