2019 Ford Flex

Three trim levels are available with the Ford Flex. These include the SE, SEL, and Limited. Available features that you will find on the Flex include a power liftgate, which comes standard on the Limited and is optional on the SEL, and heated exterior mirrors, which are standard on all trims. There are also high-intensity discharge headlamps which come standard on the Flex Limited. For additional natural lighting, drivers can get a multi-panel Vista Roof, which has four skylights that cover all three rows of seating. The Vista Roof is optional on the SEL and Limited trims.

Standard on all trims is a 3.5-liter TI-VCT V-6 engine. This engine gets 287 horsepower and 254 pound-feet of torque. This engine comes with a six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission with shifter button activation. There is also the option of a 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine that is available on the Limited trim. The EcoBoost engine has 365 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. This engine has a six-speed SelectShift automatic transmission with paddle activation.

<p>Intelligent all-wheel drive is standard on the Limited trim, which uses sensors to balance torque between the front and rear wheels to maximize traction and handling. The all-wheel drive also comes with the EcoBoost engine and is an available option on the SEL.</p> <p>Another feature that enhances the performance of the Flex is AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control. It uses gyroscopic sensors to measure roll and turning rates in the vehicle. If you take a corner too quickly, brake pressure is applied and engine power is reduced to help you keep your vehicle under control. AdvanceTrac is available on all trims. </p> <p>Finally, there is a Class III trailer tow package that is available for the SEL and Limited trims. </p>

Seating is spacious and includes bucket seats in the first row, a 60/40 split bench in the second row, and a 50/50 split bench for the third row. When both back rows are down, you have a storage capacity of 83.2 cubic feet. Safety features on the Flex include active park assist, a blind spot information system with cross-traffic alert, and a rear-view camera with backup assist grid lines. There is also adaptive cruise control and a collision warning available on the 2019 Ford Flex.
