The F-150 is available in seven trims to meet the pricing and capacity needs of every driver. The value-conscious F-150 XL is the base model, equipped with automatic headlamps with rain lamp wiper-activated headlamps, black bumpers and front fascia, a black two-bar grille, manual side mirrors and windows, and a rear fixed-glass solar window.

The XLT trim offers the same or better features, including chrome bumpers, halogen fog lamps, a two-bar chrome grille with black background mesh, power adjustable side mirrors, a power lock tailgate, and power first- and second-row windows. The Lariat offers a slightly different chrome front grille, auto-dimming heated side mirrors with integrated turn signal, a tailgate LED, and rear power sliding glass with privacy tint and defroster.

The King Ranch edition is notable for its two-tone paint, accent color bumpers, and chrome grille with caribou-color mesh insert. The King Ranch boasts LED fog lamps, chrome grille with caribou-color mesh insert, quad beam LED headlamps and taillamps, remote tailgate release, caribou step bars, and windshield wiper de-icer.

The Platinum edition builds on earlier models with body color bumpers, a satin chrome grille, and power-deployable running boards on the SuperCrew cab option. The Limited comes standard with a power moonroof, and the top-level Raptor is outfitted with such stylistic design components as accent-color performance bumpers, flared front fenders with air extractors, and a specialized grille unique to the Raptor.

Engine

The XL and XLT are powered by standard 3.3-liter twin independent variable cam timing V-6 engines that deliver 290 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. The Lariat is equipped with a standard 2.7-liter turbocharged EcoBoost V-6 (available on the XL and XLT) engine that dispatches 325 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque.

If you're looking for a more robust experience, the King Ranch and Platinum are powered by a 5-liter V-8 engine that puts forth a powerful 395 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. The optional 3.0-liter power stroke turbodiesel engine is a great alternative if you're tugging extremely heavy loads, offering the additional benefit of great fuel economy.

The high-output 3.5-liter V-6 EcoBoost engine on the Limited and Raptor generates a massive 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque.
